FAS Family Fun Fall Festival

Since I am part of the FAS PTO, this is one of the activities that I helped organize for the kids. It was sunny, but it was absolutely freezing out that day! The kids had a great time, and had more than their share of cotton candy and popcorn! Here are a few of my favorite pictures of the day!

Happy Halloween!

Here are some pictures from Halloween! Doesn't Colin look HAPPY!!!!!

HAPPY FALL!

Fall is here, as are all the fun activities that come with it. Football, apple picking, pumpkin carving and Halloween. This year, we did it all....and more. We went to an awesome corn maze with the kids in Sterling , MA. It was designed like the Olympic torch and took us over an hour to get through. It was a blast and something all the kids could enjoy. Keith and I took Slade and a bunch of his friends to Witches Woods at Nashoba Valley. There were probably 40 of us (kids and parents) and we all had a blast! We actually took up a whole hayride! What a fun night, a little scary and a lot of fun! I think the parents had more fun though, laughing as some of the kids had the lights scared out of them! Slade's football team had a tough year (0-8), but Slade did well with a bunch of tackles, a few fumble recoveries and at least 2 sacks. We took the kids to Parlee Farms and they had a great time.....we picked apples and the kids played on the Hay Maze forever! We carved pumpkins with the kids, (which proved interesting and messy!) and I made the traditional pumpkin seeds. Last night was Halloween. We had a great time, the kids looked fantastic and everyone was in great spirits. We didn't get home until 8pm, so a full 2 hours of trick or treating with 3 little ones and a very helpful older brother. With 4 kids, we are now getting wise. We took our wagon for Dillan and Shealyn, so they could just jump out and run to the houses and Colin chilled out in his stroller! No whining that "our legs are tired" this year! They all had their PJ's on under their costumes so when we got home, they had a few treats, we brushed their teeth and off to bed they went. This morning they discovered that the Great Pumpkin had come. They picked out a few of their favorite candies to keep last night and the rest was left for the Great Pumpkin, who came to visit overnight and took the candy and left them each a webkin! (The junkyard will have a surplus of candy for at least a week!!!) So overall, a great fall! Now we're moving on to Thanksgiving and Christmas, which we are all looking forward to!

Keith's Best Presents!

I absolutely love this picture, so I just had to find a reason to post it. This is on Keith's birthday as he rushes home from work so we can sing to him, pack the cake back up and fly to Slade's football scrimmage, saving the cake for 8:30pm when we all get home! Keith gets the award for Dedicated Dad! Don't you just love Dillan and Shea's fake smiles!!!

1st Days of School

Okay~ I can barely believe summer is over before I am smacked upside the head with a large dose of reality! Back to School! Here are a few pictures of Dillan and Shealyn's 1st Days of school. Slade is now in the 7th grade and too cool, to take a back to school picture for me! I had to throw that last picture of Shea in because it cracks me up!

Enough Birthdays Already!

So, as you all may already know...August is always a busy month for us. Shealyn turned 3, Slade turned 12 and Keith celebrated his 40th with a big Luau!!!!

Show Me Those Pearly Whites

Slade got braces this summer. He was a trooper, considering he could barely eat anything for 5 days after!

Summer Vacation at Lake Winne!

So, we finally made it up the Lake with all the stuff that comes along with having 4 kids. We had a blast. The kids rode go-karts, jumped on trampolines, played in the arcades......We also took them to Storyland. They had a great time and we couldn't get over the fact that Dillan and Shea were willing to go on ALL the rides. Needless to say we spent the entire day there!

Are we ready for Vacation?

We're leaving for Lake Winnepeasaukee tomorrow morning, but I just had to post this one last picture because I love it so much.....I'll post more when we get back from VACA!

Happy 4th!

So, the weather was great, the fireworks were amazing and most of the kids had a great day! Here are a few pictures from the Annual Foley 4th of July Cookout!

Shealyn's First Haircut

Okay~ so it may have taken her almost 3 years, but Shea was finally ready for her 1st haircut. She did great, and all they really did was trim the ends and even it out!

Summer fun!

This is my favorite picture so far this season. A glimpse into the wonder of being a kid......

Wakeboard Season is here!

Here's Slade's first outing on the wakeboard this season! I actually went wakeboarding last weekend myself, for the 1st time in 2 years. I was able to get up but let me tell you my arms were sore for 3 days after! I guess that's what I get for trying to be one of the kid's.....

Gotta love Grampy!

Here's a picture from Memorial Day when G.P. was indulging my little man with cupcakes and cookies! Colin really did enjoy the treats as you can see!

Our First Blog

I have been trying to start a blog for almost a year .....well, I guess I can check that off my to do list now because here is the maiden post for our first blog. Schools out for Summer! Yes, after an extremely hot weekend and the final days of school for Slade and Dillan, summer is finally here. Slade's baseball team is in first place and heading into the playoffs, Dillan's cast has finally been removed after 7 loooonnnnnnng weeks, Shealyn is doing gymnastics and might actually take a class without me by the time the session ends in 2 weeks, and Colin is a happy little man who loves to get into everything! I am going to attempt posting a few pictures now!!!
